Privacy Policy

FormFit resizes and checks the photos, signatures and documents you upload to Indian exam and government portals. Those files are personal — a passport photograph, a signature, a marksheet — so the app is built so that none of them ever leave your phone. This policy explains exactly what stays local and what does not.

1. Your Photos and Documents Never Leave Your Device

Every tool in FormFit runs entirely on your device. Compressing to an exact size, resizing, cleaning up a signature, cropping, converting HEIC to JPG, building and compressing PDFs, and checking a file against an exam's requirements are all performed locally by your phone.

• We operate no server for this app and have no ability to see your files.
• Nothing you open in FormFit is uploaded, copied or backed up to us or to anyone else.
• Every tool works with no internet connection at all.
• Files you pick are held only for as long as you are working on them.

2. Photos and Camera Access

FormFit asks for access to your photo library so you can choose the file you want to fix, and for camera access if you would rather photograph your face or signature directly. Photo library access is also used to save a finished file back to your device when you tap Save to Photos.

These permissions are used only for the file you actively choose. FormFit does not scan, index or read your photo library in the background, and you can decline either permission — the app simply cannot open or save files without them.

3. Face Detection and Background Removal

The passport photo tool can find your face to crop the photograph correctly, and can replace the background behind you with white. Both use Apple's Vision framework, which runs entirely on your device.

No photograph of your face is ever transmitted anywhere. No face data, biometric template or measurement is stored, retained or shared. The detection happens in memory while you are editing and is discarded immediately afterwards.

4. No Personal Identification

• No account registration or login is required.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
• We do not ask for or access your precise location, microphone or health data.
• We do not record which exam you select or which tools you use.

5. Third-Party Ads (AdMob)

To keep FormFit free, we use Google AdMob to show banner and occasional full-screen ads. AdMob may collect and use certain data for advertising purposes, including:

• Device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV).
• Ad interaction data (clicks and impressions).
• General (coarse) location for regional ad relevance.

This is the only part of the app that uses the internet. Ad requests never include your photos, your documents or anything about the files you are working on. FormFit also supports Apple's SKAdNetwork, which lets advertisers measure installs in a privacy-preserving way without identifying you.

6. Tracking and Your Choice

On iOS, FormFit shows Apple's “Allow Tracking” (App Tracking Transparency) prompt before any ad loads. Your answer is respected:

• If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalised, and no advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
• Declining never restricts the app. Every tool continues to work exactly the same.

You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

7. Exam Requirements Data

The sizes, dimensions and rules for each exam are bundled inside the app itself. Looking up a requirement does not contact any server, and we do not record which exam or portal you are preparing for.

8. Children

FormFit is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
