Privacy Policy
Indian Auto is a top-down auto-rickshaw runner set on an Indian road. There is no account, no sign-in and no server behind the game — your entire progress lives in a file on your own device. This policy explains exactly what stays local and what does not.
1. Your Progress Stays on Your Device
Everything the game remembers about you is written to a single file inside the app's own storage on your device:
- Your Chillar balance, distance driven, fares completed and lifetime karma.
- Your best run for each of the six modes.
- Which autos you have unlocked in the garage, and which one is equipped.
- Your daily reward streak, chosen language, and your sound, music, haptics and control settings.
We operate no server for this game. None of the above is uploaded, backed up by us, or visible to us in any way. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
2. No Personal Identification
- No account registration or login is required.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not ask for or access your photos, files, microphone, camera or location.
- We run no analytics of our own — we do not know how far you drove or which mode you prefer.
3. Third-Party Ads (AdMob)
To keep Indian Auto free, we use Google AdMob. Ads appear in three places, and never during a run:
- A banner at the bottom of menu screens.
- A full-screen ad occasionally between runs — never in the middle of one, and not at all until you have finished several runs.
- Optional video ads you choose to watch in exchange for a reward: a second chance after a crash, doubling a run's earnings, or doubling the daily gift. These only ever play after you tap them.
AdMob may collect and use certain data for advertising purposes, including:
- Device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV).
- Ad interaction data (impressions and clicks).
- General (coarse) location for regional ad relevance.
Ads are the only part of the game that uses the internet. The game is fully playable offline; you simply will not be offered the optional rewards. Read more: Google's Privacy Policy.
We limit the ads served to a General content rating, so the advertising cannot be more mature than the game itself.
4. Tracking and Your Choice
On iOS, Indian Auto shows Apple's “Allow Tracking” (App Tracking Transparency) prompt before any ad loads. Your answer is respected:
- If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalised, and no advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- Declining never restricts the game. Every mode, every auto and every reward offer works exactly the same.
You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in a region where it is required, the game presents Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and honours your answer. Where that form applies, a Privacy options row appears in the game's own Settings screen so you can change your choice later. If you withhold consent, the game remains fully playable and simply earns nothing from that install.
6. Game Center
Leaderboards use Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in, your best scores are submitted to Apple under your own Game Center account and are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. We never see your Game Center identity beyond the display name Apple shows on the board.
Game Center is entirely optional. If you are signed out, restricted by Screen Time, or offline, the game keeps its own leaderboard of your best runs on the device and everything continues to work.
7. Children
Indian Auto is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is not submitted to Apple's Kids Category. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will act on it.
8. Your Data and How to Remove It
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no account for us to delete. You are in full control:
- Settings → Reset everything inside the game clears your progress immediately and permanently.
- Deleting the app removes the save file along with it.
- Reinstalling starts a fresh profile — progress is not restored, because it was never stored anywhere but on your device.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
